Community Matters: The Party is On

This Friday, the International Newcomer's Network (INN) is hosting their annual charity social, and the plan is simple: Have tons of fun. Live entertainment by DJs and a strolling performer, silly activities, raffles, an auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres, mini-burgers, samosas, chocolate and desserts, free-flow beer and wine, and incredible prizes are all in the blueprint for this party. The funds raised will go to three charities: Beijing Huiling, Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots, and Starfish Project. Last year, the party raised RMB 54,000 and the goal this year is to overshoot that number.

Tickets are RMB 300 and can be aquired through INN volunteers and at sales locations throughout Beijing, including the International Center for Veterinary Services in Wangjing. The event takes place Friday October 18 at the Beijing Marriott Northeast from 5-9pm. Oh, did we mention the after party at Suzie Wong's? It's all part of the package. Get your tickets and party hard for charity people.
