Air China Expands Milan, Paris Service; Royal Caribbean to Deploy New Ship to China

It may not be the plethora of new routes that Hainan Airlines has added of late, but Air China is expanding its service to major destinations in Europe.

The national carrier's Beijing-Milan service goes daily on March 29, and beginning June 1, Beijing-Paris becomes twice daily. Airbus A330-200 jets fly on both routes.

Cruise line Royal Caribbean announced Wednesday that it will deploy its new ship Ovation of the Seas to China in 2016. Currently under construction in Germany, the ship will be ported in Tianjin. This is Royal Caribbean's second new ship to be based in China, as the cruise line looks to continue expanding into China's growing cruise market.

In other travel news, three Chinese tourists were killed in a bus crash on Phuket, in an accident that injured 16 others. Be careful out there.

One road flat safe.
