Kipp's Picks: Holy Ghost!, Circle Around the World, Conrank, Salsa Palma

Check out these options for cutting loose this week. Here's a quick rundown of disco, grime, house, and salsa events that will most certainly satiate those needs to party with people currently making it happen in Beijing, along with Alex Frankel of Holy Ghost! whose lush disco sleaze will make a legendary soundtrack for devouring the night.

Jul 31: Holy Ghost!
Don’t miss out this Friday as some of Beijing’s most notorious disco boys, NiBing, Boflex, and Juhstynn join forces with Alex Frankel of Holy Ghost! Since 2007, Holy Ghost! has been traveling the world, turning electro-pop on its head with dirty little disco tunes that would surely make your mother blush. On Friday Alex, one-half of this NYC dance music institution will be laying down deep cuts that span multiple eras of dance music. RMB 80, RMB 60 (advance). 10pm. Dada

Jul 31: Circle Around the World UK Edition
The next stop on Circle's journey around the world party series is the UK with this posh event fittingly sponsored by Mini Cooper. This won't be your Heinz Baked Beans kind of party, but rather a royal declaration of hedonism at one of Beijing's most decadent dance halls. We heard a rumor that there may even be a couple Queen’s guards you can poke and have ignore you. Free. 10pm. Circle

Aug 1: Conrank
He’s back and meaner than ever, with a library of grime, dubstep, and trap club burners that all the kids are loosing their minds over. Trap Don will be handling the festivities, so you can expect nothing but the best in thrills and spills from Conrank and local talents Bloodz Boi, Shackup, Puzzy Stack, and Jason Hou. RMB 60. 10pm. Dada

Aug 3: Havana presents Salsa Palma with live music from Sabor Latino con V de Venezuela Band

There’s not much like the sizzling and fizzling combination of salsa music and a couple mojitos to put you in the dancing mood. If this happens to be your wheelhouse, head over to Migas on Monday for the Sabor Latino con V de Venezuela Band, for a full on evening of caliente Latino music and dance lessons. The folks at Migas will also set up a little mojito corner, where you can learn the secrets behind making these devilishly refreshing drinks at home. Free. 8.30pm. The Bar at Migas
