First Glance: Cheers, Yashow

We may not yet have fully made our mind up about the new Yashow, but there's still time while the construction staff put down their tools and the stores put out the last of their wares. However, on the west side there is something that we definitely do like: a shiny and colorful (garish?) Cheers bar and shop, newly opened since last weekend.

With plenty of outdoor seating, and a few large tables inside, this new branch is perfect for weekend drinking, to stock up on wine for yourself or as a gift, or just to have a little break after a long afternoon shopping in Sanlitun. Whatever the occasion, and if wine at low prices cheers you up, this is a venue you've probably found yourself being reckless and feckless at time and time again.

The selection in here is similar to other Cheers' stores, so we all know what to expect: from wines from Chile starting at RMB 50, to French wines costing more than RMB 500, there's something for everybody.

Another Cheers doesn't offer much new but looking past the signature austere space, this central Sanlitun location is likely to be a first stop for those of us swinging by house parties and BYOB restaurants nearby.
