Saffron and Woodstock of Eating Team Up for Wudaoying Food and Drink Festival, Jan 9

One of the fastest-growing market organizers of 2015, Woodstock of Eating (their last market in Sanlitun Soho attracted thousands of people), has teamed up with the Saffron group of restaurants (Saffron, Chi, and paella-purveyors Saffron To Go)  to hold a festival of food, drink, and generally fun things on Wudaoying Hutong this Saturday, January 9.

Brave the winter cold and head over to Wudaoying to revel in six-hours of food and drink provided by Saffron; performances by DJ Boflex, Jordan Darling, and two of The Beijing Beatles; a presentation of Saffron founder Yao Yang's new book, Yao Yang and Friends, featuring a host of local creatives and foodies; craft workshops; and a craft market featuring everything from jewelry to homemade dog food.

The event will also mark the launch of the newest addition to the Saffron family, He Kitchen & Co (the 'drink'/喝 to Chi's 'eat'/吃). Also located on Wudaoying Hutong, according to Chi's Wechat account (ID: chi-restaurant), He will be a younger, more casual restaurant with a focus, unsurprisingly, on good drinks.

Attendance is limited to 350 people, so be sure to purchase your ticket in advance via Saffron To Go's Koudaitong store (payment via WeChat Wallet). This also gets you entrance (including six-hours of food and drink) at the special price of RMB 280 (RMB 350 on the door).
