China World Hotel Now Featuring Damiani Butterfly Afternoon Tea

The Butterfly Collection Afternoon Tea is a collaboration between the China World Hotel and Italian jewelry brand Damiani, and is being served at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge from now until July 31.

Inspired by jewelry designs, Executive Pastry Chef Jonathan Wu will present a combination of culinary craftsmanship and precious jewels. He uses fine chocolate and sugar to edible editions of items such as luxury handbags, high-heel shoes, exquisite diamond rings, and carved butterflies.

The Damiani Butterfly Afternoon Tea includes items such as mixed berry tarte with dark chocolate in the shape of a jewelry box; butter cookies; Damiani opera cakes, and macaroons and white chocolate in the shape of a handbag.  The set is RMB 388 from noon to 6pm throughout the week, not including 10 percent service charge and 6 percent VAT.
