Burger Days Are Upon Us: Where to Score Great Deals on Burgers Ahead of the May 28 Burger Festival

Beijing's Burger Days kick off Monday. In case you weren't paying attention to our blog or our magazine, these are the days leading up to the Burger Cup Festival (May 28 at Universal Creative Park in 798, just like last year) and the subsequent voting for Beijing's best burger. The aim of Burger Days is to give you the opportunity to try as many burgers as possible, at an attractive price, with Burger Cup competitors offering special deals.

Most of these deals happen on Mondays, so get your money's worth! Here are five of the best deals in town (for a complete list of Burger Days deals, see our running list here).

Daily, May 16-June 13: Burger and Beer or Soft Drink for RMB 60 at Ahava
Any single patty burger and a local beer or soft drink for RMB 60. When Burger Cup voting commences on May 30, Ahava will take 10 percent off this price for every round that Ahava moves up. 

Daily, May 16-June 13: Two Burgers for RMB 50 at Q Mex
Q Mex certainly know how to make an attractive deal: for approximately the next month, try two of their medium-sized burgers (either the new Cheese-Skirt Burger, the Double Burger, or the Classic Burger) for only RMB 50, and get coleslaw and potato wedges.

Every Monday, May 16-27: Half-Price Burgers on Mondays at Plan B
Every Monday between May 16-27, get your Plan B burgers at half-price between 3pm and closing.

Every Monday, May 16-27: Half-Price Burgers at Blue Marlin
Every Monday, get any burger on the menu for half the original price at Blue Marlin. 

Every Monday, May 16-30: Buy-One-Get-One-Free Burger Mondays at The Garage
From 3-11pm every Monday between May 16-30, get one burger for free for every burger that you buy. You can choose from any two of the burgers on the menu.

Daily, May 16-27: Free Bud or Soft Drink with Burgers at Fatboy's
Any order of the Wimpy (beef, RMB 88) and Holy Caesar (read more about this burger here) (chicken, RMB 68) burger will get a free 330ml Budweiser, or a Coke/Sprite. 

Daily, May 16-27: Free Beer with Two Orders of Sliders at Chat Room (For First 10 Customers of the Day)
If you're one of the first 10 guests of the day to order any two orders of sliders/mini burgers (read more about them here), you'll get a free beer. 

Daily, May 16-27: Free Carlsberg or Soft Drink with Burgers at Luga's Villa
Order any burger throughout the promotion period and receive a free Carlsberg, soft drink, or juice.

Daily May 16-27: Free Milkshake, Beer, or Mojito with a Burger at Billy's Fish & Chips
Get a free milkshake, beer or mojito* with your burger. (*Note: Mojitos will need to be claimed at Billy's Fish & Chips' sister venue, Billy's Corner Bar Mojito not far away).

Daily, May 14-June 14: Finish an 800g Burger in 13 Minutes and It's Free
Looking for a challenge? If you can finish Sunbake & Brew's 800g burger within 13 minutes, it's free. Otherwise you'll have to pay the RMB 188 price tag. This competition runs daily between 11am and 6pm.

Daily, May 16-27: Biteapitta Pitta Burger Gets Extra Toppings for the Burger Cup
Between now and June 27, the Pitta Burger at Biteapitta comes with sauteed mushrooms and fried onions.

Daily, May 16-27: Free Upgrade to Feta and Oregano Fries or Poutine with Burgers at Ramo
Every burger that you order at Ramo (all-beef, grilled or fried chicken, or a bean burger) gives you the chance to have your side fries upgraded to either feta cheese and oregano fries, or poutine, made with mozzarella and beef gravy. 

Daily, until May 31: Check Out the Caravan Burger at RMB 78 Spring Business Lunch
RMB 78 lets you choose a starter and a main from five starters and seven mains, including the Caravan Burger.

Every Monday, May 16-23: RMB 5 Off Burgers at Slow Boat Every Monday
Get RMB 5 off every Monday between May 16 and May 23, to check out the champion burger from last year's Burger Cup.
