Christmas for Your Furry Best Friend: Penny's x Brewdog Christmas Doggie Café Pop-Up at Ramo, Dec 9-11

The good people of Ramo know that Christmas is not just for humans, hence they're hosting a collaboration party between Penny's Food Studio and Brewdog, the Christmas Doggie Café Pop-Up.

Get special prices on Brewdog beers throughout the event (including newly released Ace of Hops Chinook, Punk IPA, and favorite Dead Pony Club), RMB 40 for 500ml of the first two, and RMB 30 for a 330ml can of the latter. Ramo will of course be serving their standard eats outside the café station, complete with outside heaters to help prevent frostbite, and hot drinks (mulled wine and mulled cider at RMB 33) to keep your hands warm.

Penny's Food Studio will supply the doggie treats (think warm beef jelly), as well as selling their regular food. The menu for two-legged customers will feature a "bone" pizza with salami and pepperoni (RMB 68) and mozzarella corn dogs (RMB 35 for three).

The Christmas café will be open between 10am and 11pm from Friday, December 9 through to Sunday, December 11. The last day, Sunday, coincides with the Fangjia Hutong Christmas Market, which will see vendors spread throughout the hutong.

This year’s rendition of the market will offer a wide range of craft goods and food, with 30-plus stalls in six venues: Cartoccio, El Nido, Fang, Mimi e Coco, Ramo, and Hot Cat Club. Rager Pie will warm up your day with some hot sweet and savory pies, Shangrila Farms, Miss Muesli, and Jenni’s Oven will be in charge of sweet treats alongside Habesha organic Ethiopian coffee. Once you’re full, you can shop for Italian artist Cosmosaurus's Christmas cards, handmade jewelry from metalsmith Hanna Kay, herbal organic cosmetics by Velveteen Secret Potions, silk scarves, home accessories, vintage clothes, pottery, organic dog food, and a whole room dedicated to Loreli artists.
