Good Corporate Governance Practices as a Business Case: An AmCham Lecture
This English-language seminar focuses on corporate governance as a tool for improving corporate performance, fighting corruption, and protecting investor rights, property ownership structure and the rule of law. Dr Demir Yener, director of the MS Finance Program at John Hopkins Carey Business School will speak, addressing the issues of finance capacity development for large public companies down to family own firms. Live A Cappella Concert from Yale's "Proof of the Pudding"
Straight outta New Haven: Yale’s second oldest all-female a cappella group will appear at the Yale Center in Beijing. The group performs a variety of styles of music, but looks back to jazz and swing music. A Q&A with the group will follow the performance. Inspiring Women Series With Dr Sozi
Dr Sozi, the director of UNAIDs China, will speak at this Inspiring Women event to be held at the Four Seasons Liangmaqiao in an event sponsored by Viva, Beijing’s Professional Women’s Network. Revolution, Restoration, and China's Roaring Twenties: A Walk and Discussion Through Beijing's Imperial Parks and Gardens
