May the Tastiest Burger Win! Voting is Now Open to Choose Beijing's Best Burger of 2017

It's time: after weeks of enticing lead up and a two-day event that saw more than 18,000 hungry Beijingers chowing down on burgers from 28 different restaurants and vendors at Galaxy Soho, voting is now open in the 2017 Burger Cup

We assume that by now you have given ample thought to what you consider to be Beijing's very best burgers, so it's time to put your money where your mouth is and vote. We're giving you an initial ballot of the top 100 contestants divided into four brackets, and you will choose which ones deserve a spot in the next round.

Curious about our methodology? Here's a more detailed explanation how you will choose Beijing's Best Burger in 2017.

Once seeded, the brackets will be put up for another round of voting. In each round, the number of contestants is cut by half. We'll keep doing that until only one remains: Your burger champion for 2017.

The voting schedule is as follows:

Burger Cup opening round: May 21-26
Burger Cup Round of 32: May 26-31
Burger Cup Sweet 16:  May 31-June 5
Burger Cup Elite Eight: June 5-8
Burger Cup Final Four: June 8-12
Championship Round: June 12-15

If you feel like you still need inspiration, especially once things get down to the wire in the later rounds, then you'll also find us blogging about a bunch of newcomers and some familiar faces here over the next couple of weeks; you can be sure to not miss any of the action (and see which venues we've already profiled) by following our 2017 Burger Cup tab here: thebeijinger.com/2017burgercup.
