Impeccable Taste: Queena Clothing Store Opens in Haidian

Don’t write off Queena as your average Wudaokou boutique. Sure, the clothing may be Korean-influenced, but every piece is handpicked by the owner herself – and she has impeccable taste.

A recent graduate of Tsinghua University, the store’s namesake draws from her degree in interior design and her knowledge of the area to compile a collection well-suited to the tastes of her potential patrons.

A party girl in search of a new outfit could adorn herself from head-to-toe in patterned mini-dresses and rompers (from RMB 200), vintage earrings that avoid fake sparkle, stunning snakeskin clutch purses (RMB 168-218) and chunky zip-up heels.

But daywear options are also plentiful – maxi dresses available in tribal, animal and tie-dye print (from RMB 279) are all right on trend, along with slouchy hats (RMB 159) and rocker tees (from RMB 150).

Unlike her neighbors, Queena manages to keep it tasteful by adhering to a more muted color palette, balancing the occasional flashy patterns with masculine structures.
