Hey guys,

Are you going to do a category for Buffet next time?

I don't recommend Banana Leaf as outstanding, the food is super heavy and the service was very disappointing.

Element Fresh is great, but I believe Green should go Veggie. No vegetarian category? That would be nice, there are many options in town. Mock meat is a exquisite experience in China.

Though awards season in the rest of the world is winding down, here in Beijing, it's just beginning.

Having cast my vote for the past several years, this is the first year I've had the pleasure of helping to organize the Beijinger's Reader Restaurant Awards. So, as your new Dining Editor, I'm excited to see where you, dear Beijingers, choose for your "Best of's" in our tenth annual Reader Restaurant Awards. While we don't expect you to vote in every category, I've found there's always reason to celebrate in this city, and I expect you have strong ideas to share on where best to revel in Beijing. Look below to see our nominees for "Best Place for Celebration," and write in your own unlisted underdog on the ballot if you don't see your favorite spot featured.

To cast your vote, click here.

The polls are closing at the end of the day. If you haven't yet put in your vote, make sure to visit here and submit your ballot now for the Beijinger's Tenth Annual Reader Restaurant Awards.

The Beijinger’s 2013 Reader Restaurant Awards ceremony was held yesterday in the Grand Ballroom of the Kerry Hotel. To a room packed with the who’s who of the Beijing dining scene, we announced the Best and Outstanding winners you chose as top tier for the year.
