Drinking Beer to Help Kids: Chug Off for Charity Names a Winner

Drink beer and help kids receive medical treatment. That sounds like a win-win proposition if there ever was one.

Beijing Cream's Chug Off for Charity was created on that principle, and the result was RMB 4,288 raised for Magic Hospital.

In between, there were four rounds of intense beer beer drinking by 16 teams of one or two participants. Each was given a pint of pale ale from Great Leap Brewing, which hosted the event. Only incidental spillage was permitted, although no participant was disqualified as a result.

The winners were Colin and Tiggi, aka Go on the Pikies. Tiggi is displaying the winner's belt at Paddy O'Shea's, where he is the manager.
