Andy's Craft Sausages to Open Sanlitun Delicatessen

Andy's Craft Sausages will extend its prepared meats brand in early January, when it opens a New York-style delicatessen in Sanlitun, founder Andy Horowitz told the Beijinger.

The new venture will open in the space soon to be vacated by Tavalin Bagels, which will close its current retail outlet at the end of December, Beijing Boyce reported earlier this month.

Along with his trademark craft sausages, Horowitz plans to introduce American deli favorites such as corned beef to his menu, and will offer breakfast along with lunch and dinner service.

Andy's Craft Sausages were previously sold at Tavalin Bagels. Horowitz said he expects a soft opening sometime after the New Year holiday ends next week.

oh TBJ... i love you guys but FFS, how does a 2sqm qualify as a goddamn delicatessen?

it's fun when it's nice and warm out to sit in a ghetto sidewalk but you're insulting the delicatessen concept by using that name. It's a glorified non-mobile sausage cart on a good day. Let's not exagerate things, shall we?

At a sausage factory? Surely you jest.

Any news on a vegetarian offering?
