Sizzling Summer Barbecues in W Hotel's Sunken Garden

The ever stylish W Hotel has come up with an equally stylish way to spend your Friday and Saturday nights (5.30-10pm), in the form of their sizzling summer barbecues, served up in the hotel's sunken garden. In typical W Hotel style, the garden (attached to all-day dining restaurant Kitchen Table) is decorated in vibrant, modern furniture, with plenty of fans to keep the space cool.

Priced at RMB 338 (plus 15 percent service charge), for all-you-can-eat from the barbecue, the food covers standard barbecue favorites, from a selection of salads to a wide range of grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables. You can choose from a couple of pre-grilled varieties, or ask the chefs to cook you up something from the chiller cabinet behind the counter, including oysters and half lobsters. We were big fans of the sticky barbecue ribs, as well as the burnished suckling pig (basically most of the delicious pork products), available while you wait for the chefs to bring over your selection.

Drinks aren't included in the price, but they have a variety of chilled wines, beers, and cocktails just waiting for you to ask for the jiudan

As a bonus, go with at least five friends and the sixth will eat for free.
