Attend the Women in Leadership Gala Nov 11, Get Early Bird Tickets Until Oct 15

In celebration of women's leadership and empowerment, the Beijing Women's Network presents the first Women in Leadership Gala on Friday, November 11, starting at 5pm and going until late.

The event, for which the Beijinger is a proud media sponsor, aims to bring together individuals and organizations concerned about women's issues, professional development, and deeply pressing social issues. The event will also celebrate the community that the Beijing Women's Network has formed through its many events throughout the year.

The evening will start with two workshops, led by Sarah Kemp, minister counselor of commercial affairs at the US Embassy, and Rachel Morarjee, Reuters Breaking Views' China columnist. Following the workshops, there will be a keynote address with Zheng Sai Sai, the Chinese Olympian and tennis champion. Finally, there will be an after party with a formal dinner, informal drinks, and probably very informal dancing.

Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the United Foundation for Health's "Wheels for Life" program, which focuses on healthcare services for migrant women across Greater Beijing.

You can choose to either attend the workshop only (RMB 150 at early bird price), or get a single ticket to the gala at RMB 730. If you want to go in a group you can get five tickets for RMB 3,550 or nine for RMB 6,300. These are all early bird prices, which will go up after October 15.
