One Out of Every 100 Beijingers is a RMB Millionaire, Highest Concentration in Country

No surprise there, Beijing has the highest concentration of tuhao's, or nouveau richewithin its city boundaries.

tuhao in this case is defined as somebody with over RMB 10 million in assets. In real life, however, the term is considered slightly derogatory, considered to be someone who shows off their wealth unnecessarily.

As you can see on the list below, Beijing has a total of 238,000 tuhao's, one for every 100 people. Shanghai comes in second with 205,000, and Jilin Province came third with 95,000 tuhao's.

China's mainland counted a total of 1,340,000 tuhao's in May of 2016, 130,000 more than the previous year, an increase of 10.7 percent, giving us all hope that some day we may also have 10 bazillion rambos to blow on gaudy tracksuits.

If you're looking to act like a tuhao, but you're not really one, may we recommend the following simple steps (that don't actually cost that much money, unless you're looking to get real jade):

1. Get a crazy neon shiny sticker stuck on your sports car. Preferably gold, because gold is life.
2. Party on Gongti Xilu. All. Night. Long. Those cognac bottles aren't going to mix themselves with ice tea, ya know.
3. Get more jade necklaces and bracelets than your little limbs could possibly hold.

We definitely will judge though, we can guarantee it.
