EAT: Gung Ho! Launch CBD Delivery Branch and New Delivery Items, Tel Aviv Weekend Brunch Pop-Up
Eastsiders and CBDers rejoice: Gung Ho! Pizza has just opened a new delivery branch in Hujialou-CBD! With this new site, they'll be speeding up delivery times in the CBD area, as well as reaching more locations outside the Fourth Ring Road. The branch is open from 11am-11pm every day and you can order through the Gung Ho! website and WeChat (GungHo-Pizza) or via Meituan, Baidu, and Eleme.
Gung Ho! also have a number of new delivery items that launched in mid-April including a new selection of three different pizza bases to choose from – wholewheat, paleo, and gluten-free – and the option to swap out their standard New Zealand Anchor Mozzarella for a homemade dairy-free alternative. Gung Ho! have always offered great meat-free pizza choices and they have added even more options in the form of the Robert Plant pizza, their "rock star vegetarian" pizza topped with asparagus and okra, and the Ubergine, topped with roasted eggplant. In a recent WeChat post, Gung Ho! said they were on a mission to become China's healthiest pizza joint and we've got to say, it shows!
If you've been missing Hatchery's Tel Aviv concept, one of the last to grace their now-closed Dongsishitiao location, then make sure to book a spot at the pop-up Tel Aviv brunch at Arcade this coming weekend (May 5-6). The brunch is also a chance for them to show their our newest incubatee – Halo Hummus. Halo Hummus founder Nicole will be blending, baking and blitzing up a storm to come up with a special menu for one weekend only – you can expect dips, pickles, breads, salads, a build-your-own Middle Eastern deli counter, a welcome drink, and a dessert.
If you're already a fan of Halo Hummus, then you can order through Arcade's page on Meituan and Jinshisong. The hummus comes in classic, topped with sun-dried tomatoes, Manzanilla olives, chickpeas, EVOO, paprika, and fennel; red pepper, with tomatoes, sweet red peppers, and red onion; japalpeño, with pickled jalapeños, artichokes, and fresh green chilies; and jerk chicken.
