2010 Mar 10 Food Fight: Books and Booze Up for Grabs!

Last week we set the challenge. The first two users to post reviews of ANY BEIJING RESTAURANT in our directory that had NOT been written about before would score a copy of One Night in Beijing PLUS a bottle of wine each. And the winners are…
... actually we only have one winner. We’ve been flooded with over 80 reviews since last week – but only one user managed to write two reviews for restaurants that had not been reviewed before. Chinaaussie wrote about Jazz-Ya and Longshun Yuan Mala Xiangguo.
He/she summed up Jazz-Ya with: “There are too many good restaurants around now for this place to be called good.”
Fortunately Longshun Yuan Mala Xiangguo provided a more enticing dining experience:
Awesome!!!
“Delicious! Don't be scared of the copious amounts of chili's in the pot - just order what meat and veggies you want and tuck in. The crunchy tofu, needle mushrooms, sweet potato and chicken are always in my bowl. Take a bunch of friends and order a bunch of stuff to throw in. Very Very Tasty! Even if you can eat chili the hottest option is DAMN hot, and will make you cry and sweat. There are 5 levels of spiciness, we normally go for 3."
For his/her efforts, Chinaaussie wins One Night in Beijing PLUS a bottle of wine.
And we still have a copy of One Night in Beijing AND a bottle of wine to give away. So get to it – write two reviews of restaurants not yet reviewed in our directory and the book and the booze are YOURS!
Reviewing is easy – just register as a user, find the restaurant in our directory and click “Add a Review” to the right of the restaurant write-up. Winners will be announced next week here on the Beijinger blog.
