First Glance: Cafe FLO in Parkview Green

Cafe FLO is the new casual dining space from Groupe Flo, the power behind one of Beijing's longest standing French restaurants, Brasserie FLO (who recently celebrated their 15th anniversary). While Brasserie FLO is more of an occasion destination, Cafe FLO draws on the great heritage of French cafes, aiming to provide well-priced, quick meals.

The menu is broad but resolutely French, covering appetizers (RMB 36-98), salads (RMB 66-88), main courses and grills (RMB 78-238), pasta (RMB 58-98) and afternoon tea (RMB 128 per couple). Wine drinkers will find much to enjoy – wines by the glass start at just RMB 38, and can all be ordered in a 500ml pitcher. The space itself feels authentically Gallic and just (although only just) helps you forget you're in the basement of a hulking mall.

Browse through some pictures of the food below and look out for a longer review of Cafe FLO in the November issue of the Beijinger.

Is there a reason there's no contact number for this restaurant? Want to try it, but want to book and can't find the number anywhere...
