Beijing to Host First AIIB Meeting Jan 16-18: Blue Skies for Everyone!

Beijing is to host the first official meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) between January 16 and 18, almost certainly guaranteeing us blue skies for that weekend as financial leaders gather in Beijing. Hooray!

The China Daily reports that the AIIB will hold annual meetings every June, with the first session being held in our fair city following the bank's launch on December 25 of last year. The first meeting will elect the first president of the bank that is to be a USD 100 billion multilateral lender, along with 12 constituency directors.

Those of us who were around during APEC in November 2014 will remember the incredibly blue skies, and although the AIIB meeting will not be of the same scale (sorry, no holidays), there's still a high chance that the air will be clear.

Skies are set to be looking great today and tomorrow too, though, why not get outside and enjoy it while it lasts?
