EAT: Andalusian Sausages at Migas, Savings Deal at The Canteen, Pizza Pizza Pizza!

This week sees an introduction to autumn with special seasonal dishes at Migas Restaurant courtesy of Jose Carmon aka Pepe, an Andalusian butcher invited to Beijing by the Migas team. Dishes, such as salmorejo croquettes and flamenquín de mojo "among other Andalusian treats that are truly impossible to translate (we tried for a whole 10 minutes with no luck, so you’ll just have to come taste them)" will be available at both lunch and dinner, between September 29 and October 2.

Pepe will also host a special master class in his sausage production methods (see photo at the top). Entry is free, and the workshop starts at 3.30pm on Wednesday, September 28.

For something a little bit lighter, the recently launched pop-up The Canteen at Jing-A is still going strong Mondays through Fridays, 11.30am to 2.30pm (or until sold out), and they've put out a Sanlitun Saver Deal: get a salad (of up to 250g), a sandwich or a quiche, and a drink (tea or coffee) for just RMB 60.

For something a bit more indulgent, grab a coupon for our Pies for the People promotion, part of the lead up to the 2016 Pizza Cup. Lots of our city's pizza establishments are joining in, with VSportsNorth CapitalQ Mex, Bocca Della Verita, Gung Ho!, and Ahava so far offering the hungry masses some incredible deals on their doughy wares. Check out the links for more information on how to take advantage of each individual establishment's promotion.

And finally, excitement continues to build for our October 15-16 Pizza Festival, for which you can get early bird tickets here via Yoopay. Tickets are RMB 20 per day if you get them in advance, and RMB 25 if you get them at the door.
